Valentine's day--The most romantic day of the year, and we had the biggest BLIZZARD of the season. We didn't get to do much either, because Rob works straight midnight shift, so we just stayed home.
He did bring me this beautiful bouquet of flowers that certainly brought some cheerfulness into the house with all the Spring colours and buds. This little tiger certainly brought a smile to my face. So all was good!
The following week, Rob had the week off, and it started off with a bang! February 18th, we went to see Colin James and the Little Big Band in concert! What an amazing evening. The tickets were a Christmas gift that I had given him, so it was nice to finally have the night arrive.
Rob got himself a concert t-shirt, and I got myself a concert hoodie. (which is ever so fuzzy and warm)
I created this layout to represent the evening that we had, and still have a second page to do yet.
February 19th, was my 41st birthday! It was so good to have Rob home. We went shopping for the day and had lunch! It was sad that I didn't have my boys with me for this special day, but this is what happens when they get older. The part of life that mom's don't really look forward to.
The rest of the week we took advantage that Rob was home for the weekend and we got some much needed stuff done around the house! I tell you, it truly is never ending around here.
This month has also kept me busy with creating new layouts! I have been playing an online game at www.treasurestoscrap.com. You really should come and check it out over there. Lots of great challenges, wonderful gals to chat it up with and of course participating in the game is so much fun! I have been so motivated by these gals and have gotten so many great layouts created that I can't believe how productive this month has been for me! If you get a chance, come on over and check us out. You won't be disappointed!!!
Here are a few more layouts that I created while playing this game....hope you enjoy them!
